| Abstract | This report describes the results of a rapid appraisal survey of the Lela language conducted from March 23-31, 1993 in the Zuru Local Government Area of southern Kebbi State in Nigeria (this report was not peer reviewed). The survey assesses the need for a language development program among the Lela people through lexicostatistical comparisons of Lela dialects and related languages, individual interview schedules, and participant observation. |
